(K-2) King and King by Linda de Haan

In this picture book there lived a prince who was told he must marry by the end of the summer. The search began for the perfect match and when they found the match his name was Lee. According to http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/446761.King_and_King reviewers found the book to be so so. It was noted that although the Prince marrying a man would be controversial, in the story it was completely normal. It appeared on the American Library Association’s top 10 challenged books in 2003 and 2004 due to the focus on homosexuality.
